 In the talk Nick will look at some of Jung’s ideas and how they may map onto contemporary events. To do this heI will attempt to offer a critical view of the evolution of some of Jung’s ideas from an academic perspective and then set this against a historian’s view of the thirties. Having established this as a foundation, he will then examine how Jung’s ideas can help or hinder us when we try to apply them to collective events that we face today.
